The Omnilab Media Group hosts Chinese Media Delegation

SYDNEY  Media Services Company, the Omnilab Media Group hosted a delegation from the Australia-China Media Forum at their post-production facility The LaB Sydney in Artarmon today.

The Chinese media leaders receiving a guided tour of The LaB Sydneys facilities include, Mr Cai Wu, Minister for the State Council Information Office, Ms. Wang Hui, Director General BOCOG (Beijings Organising Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games), Mr. Zhang Changming, Deputy President of China Central Television, and Mr. Li Ruigang, President of Shanghai Media Group.

The Omnilab Media Group, through its divisions, The LaB Sydney and Ambience Entertainment in Sydney, and Digital Pictures and Iloura in Melbourne have been working with the Chinese Film, Television and Commercial industries for the past eight years.

Ambience Entertainment last year produced the 20 part Chinese drama series Wait for Me in Sydney. Wait for Me in Sydney was filmed in and around Sydney and is due to hit television screens in China at the end of June 2006.

The Omnilab Media Groups post production facility in Melbourne, Digital Pictures, have completed various post production requirements on 17 Chinese films including visual effects for the critically acclaimed Seven Swords.

In the television commercials sector, Melbourne based visual effects and animation company, Iloura have completed campaigns for LEXUS for Saatchi and Saatchi Beijing and Citroen for Gwantsi Productions, Beijing.
