Prestigious childrens television awards bitten by the bug.
(SYDNEY) Ambience Entertainment along with CCI Releasing are proud to announce the comical 3D animated series Erky Perky has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Prix Jeunesse International.
The Prix Jeunesse is held in early June in Munich, Germany and is childrens televisions highest honour. The winners are selected for overall programming excellence by fellow participants, and being nominated for this esteemed award is truly an achievement in itself.
Erky Perky follows the misadventures of two bickering bugs (Erky and Perky) on their mis-adventures in ridiculous scenarios on their never ending quest for food and ultimately a return back to the grimy and greasy hot dog stand. Erky and Perky share their home and harebrained schemes with over 60 characters in numerous locations in every nook and cranny of the kitchen you could imagine.
Co-creator and Director of the series David Webster said of the nomination, Im extremely proud of the team that has worked so hard on Erky Perky both here and in Canada to deliver such a funny, high quality show. Its great to see our cheeky little characters are infesting television screens all over the world and making kids laugh. Any award nominations are a bonus.
The Canadian- Australian co-production between Australia's Ambience Entertainment and Canada's CCI Entertainment Inc is a 3D animated series in HD format and is a character-driven comedy with technology-driven surreality that allows characters to stretch, squash, roll into balls and lose limbs that simply grow back. Children around the world can watch Erky Perky on YTV in Canada, ABC and the Seven Network in Australia, and Animania HD in North America.
